Lanarkshire Golf Association work closely with Scottish Golf on all aspects of Safeguarding to ensure that our clubs and events are managed in accordance with the relevant legislation.

On Wednesday 22 November LGA hosted Mrs Mary Walls, Scottish Golf Safeguarding Officer at Drumpellier GC for a presentation on SafeGolf.  Our member clubs who attended learned how Scottish Golf is fully committed to developing the highest standards of safeguarding.

SafeGolf is a partnership of UK golf bodies committed to promoting a safe and positive environment for all those participating, working and volunteering in the sport.

We would encourage all our member clubs to engage with Mary who will assist them gain the essential accreditation which will be mandatory in the very near future.
